NorthPlace is a small family run farm in the heart of central Maine, conveniently located near Belfast, Bangor and Waterville. We raise livestock and grow hay and vegetables, but focus on providing unique, sustainably grown, fresh cut flowers.

Flowers used to be an essential element in society, welcoming people into one’s home, serving as hostess gifts, and as an expression of love, congratulations, or sympathy.

As the pace of modern life seems to get ever faster, I believe we all need a bit of old-fashioned charm and a reminder to slow down and appreciate our surroundings, and our friends and family. With that in mind, I love providing people with lush blooms grown right here on our farm.

The varieties change seasonally, but I have a particular fondness for fragrant flowers, unusual forms, contrasting textures, and putting a unique spin on some of the tried-and-true favorites that graced our grandmothers’ tables.
